That afternoon we found the young female leopard Reto high up in a beautiful tree. She rested all the while watching a pride of lions in the distance. She lay relaxed on a large branch the whole time. My idea was to photograph her as soon as she got up. However, we had to wait several hours until the sun went down. This is how this atmospheric picture was created with this night-blue, dark sky as a background.
