Raising young cubs is very difficult for cheetahs. The death rate of the cubs is very high because they have a lot of enemies. Lions, hyenas and leopards are among their archenemies. This mother cheetah named “Imani” had four cubs that we accompanied for several days. The mother was actually constantly busy scanning the horizon for potential enemies, which is how this photo was taken.
